Kundalia major irrigation project stands as a construction initiative on Kalisindh River between District Rajgarh and District Agar-Malwa in Madhya Pradesh. The total project expense amounts to Rs. 3448.00 crores according to government approval. A new irrigation system with drip and sprinkler methods will supply water to 419 villages across 1,30,639 hectare Rabi areas in Sarangpur, Khilchipur, Jeerapur of Rajgarh district alongside Nalkheda and Susner blocks within Agar-Malwa district. The Kundalia Dam building has reached completion during 12/2018 while engineers constructed eleven radial gates which measure 12X17m for reservoir drainage purposes. Water distribution through micro-irrigation ensures high-pressure water delivery through underground pipes that supply one hectare of farmland for farmers. The scheduled completion date for micro-irrigation across 67,591 hectares is set for 04/2021 in total 63 villages of Susner and Nalkheda blocks district Agar-Malwa along with Jeerapur and Sarangpur blocks district Rajgarh and the project area in Sarangpur block amounts to 67,091 hectares.

The Mohanpura Irrigation Project emerges as the initial national initiative where fields receive irrigation through pressure distribution methods. A 3800 crore project constructed the longest underground pressure pipeline which will serve 1 lakh 35 thousand hectares of land. The initial stage of the project requires water supply to 25 hectares of difficult-to-irrigate land located in Kalipith area. Another sector is presently executing the installation of underground pipes across multiple locations. The Mohanpura Dam stands as a construction on Nevaj River at a distance of 8 km from Rajgarh.

The dam’s site collects water from 3726 square kilometers of the catchment area. Water from the Mohanpura dam will serve three purposes which include irrigation system and domestic and industrial water needs. The proposed irrigation scheme includes about 35500 hectares of Kharif season land as well as 62250 hectares of Rabi season land.
