1.Parnashala

Parnasala is a small village situated at a distance of 32 kms from the holy town Bhadrachalam in the state of Telangana, India. The remote location is a little glitch in getting to the village because of which makes it quite a challenge to get to them. One can access Parnasala and out there only by road/boats as the transport means.

The legend tells that the most disciplined Lord Shri Ram spent some of his fourteen years of banishment here. The second story that relates to the history of this historical village is that Maricha Rakshas had been murdered by Lord Shri Ram in the similar place when he entered in the disguise of a golden deer to fool the Goddess Sita.

Parnasala, which became a much visited picnic spot in Bhadrachalam is said to be the spot where evil minded King Ravan abducted Goddess Sita. 2.Pedhamma Temple
