Kattuveera Anjaneya Temple situated at Krishnagiri in Tamil Nadu is believed to be 2500 years old said to be the Anjaneya here that, who ever who pray to him with a ardent devotion one prayer from a heart is believed to be get fulfilled in 3 months.

It is said that your one and only wish that wishes gets fulfilled and after your wish is completed, it is believed, people are expected to return and get the saffron bag from the temple.

There is one natural rock formation Nandi one can’t miss with presence of shiva also.

Krishnagiri Museum is situated near Apsara Theatre, Gandhi Road. It was opened as 12th District Museum in 1993. The Museum showcases artifacts of Art and Archaeology, Anthropology, Geology, Botany and Zoology subjects. Visitors can get the knowledge of history of Krishnagiri district from Paleolithic period to date by the Exhibits in this monument. Krishnagiri district was occupied by Megalithic men and women later Neolithic period. Megalithic culture in this district was revealed by the different kinds of burials, paintings both on rocks and dolmens, existence of iron objects in association with black and red ware vessels. Here, different types of various megalithic potteries from Beemandapalli and photographs of rock paintings of Periyakottappalli and Krishnagiri hill and Dolmens of Mallasandram are exhibited.

Sangam age came after megalithic period. Sangam literatures note down the building of hero stones in great detail. In memory of the hero who went down in the battle Hero stone was raised. Such hero stones are present in plenty in Krishnagiri district. Hero stones from Beemandapalli, Sulagiri, Kathadikuppam, Chinnakothur, Emakkalnattham, Kodiyalam, Londenpet and Pennesvaramadam are to be seen here.

The hero stone from Chinnakothur inscribed with inscription, details that this person died after killing of a horse in a battle that took place at Karuvayanpalli. Stone inscription in Beemandapalli from Rajamahendra Chola (1062) located near the Hero stone that says that Seramakkan wife of a warrior who died in the war at Koodumukki did Theeppanjaal (Sati). Again a and inscription brought from Karakkuppam of Vijayanagar period mentions akaram (agraharam) granted by donation. Pochampalli inscription mentions a gift offered by Thavana Dandanayaka to Thiruvanatheesvarar temple for the welfare of Hoysala King Someesvara Deva on his 13th regnal year.
