Neelakanteshwara temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, an architectural wonder and one of the places to visit in Nizamabad alongside centuries of importance. The temple takes its name from “Lord of the Blue Throat,” from the myth where Shiva swallowed the poison released by churning the cosmos, according to a story.
