2.Wat Phra Dhammakaya

The Wat Phra Dhammakaya, one of the main Buddhist temples, is in the Khlong Luang District of Pathum Thani Province, Thail On February 20, 1970, Maechi Chandra Khonnokyoong and Luang Por Dhammajayo established the temple, using a 80-acre land given by Lady Prayad Pattayapongsavisuttatibodi. At first, it existed as a meditation place, but in 1981 official recognition of it as a temple came.

Historical Background
Wat Phra Dhammakaya is founded on a meditation tradition known as Vijja Dhammakaya which was made relevant again in the early 20th century by Luang Pu Sodh Candasaro, who was once the abbot of Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen. This temple was created to support practice of this meditation and to aid growth in spiritual life.
Over the past years, the temple has grown its area to over 1,000 acres due to an increase in the number of people wanting to visit and practice. It has risen to become one of Thailand’s most important and rapidly growing temples, winning the hearts of millions at home and abroad.

Architectural Highlights
Dhammakaya Cetiya: A giant stupa with a dome was built at the temple’s heart. After construction in 2000, 1 million Buddha statues were added—300,000 on the outer walls and another 700,000 inside. World peace is reflected within one’s self by the Cetiya and vast crowds of around 600,000 can be housed during important ceremonies.
In honour of Luang Pu Sodh Candasaro, the hall has been built and contains eight solid gold statues. It offers peace and a chance for quiet reflection.

5.Wat Bot

Found in Tambon Ban Klang, Pathum Thani Province, Wat Bot is located on the eastern side of the Chao Phraya River and gives a peaceful look into the area’s culture and religion.

The Mon community from Pegu in Myanmar settled in Thailand in 1621 and left Wat Bot as an evidence of their lasting effect. As its common name, “Wat Bot,” shows, the temple got its name from the Mon settlement it replaced. Most temples in Pathum Thani are named in this way because it reflects their tie to Mon traditions.

7.Wat San Chao Floating Market

8.The National Memorial

Indian soldiers who have lost their lives for the country are honored by the National War Memorial in New Delhi. On February 25, 2019, it was inaugurated near India Gate. 10.Rangsit Science Center

The Rangsit Science Centre for Education is a main science and technology museum in Thanyaburi District, Pathum Thani Province, Thailand. Since 1994, it has focused on teaching the public about science, technology and the environment. HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn officially opened the center on February 21, 2007 .

Both history and mission are essential aspects of any organization.
The Ministry of Education was assigned by Cabinet Resolution from August 16, 1990, to develop and run Science Centres in Education all over Thailand which eventually led to the foundation of the Rangsit Science Centre. The center was set up to help celebrate the King’s Golden Jubilee. It’s mission is to offer science and technology education for life, hoping to improve the lives of people by increasing their understanding of these areas .

Educational Programs
Courses at the Rangsit Science Centre for Education serve both official and non-official learning groups. It equips schools with the facilities needed for students to understand and learn different areas of science. The center organizes science camps and teacher training sessions to increase knowledge about science and its practical use by everyone.
