Pocharam Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area in Telangana district, Medak and Nizamabad, and was established in 1952. The dry deciduous forests make up an area of about 130 square kilometers which form part of the sanctuary and is named after the Pocharam Lake constructed after bunding the Allair river between 1916 and 1922.

Nagunur Fort in Nagunur village near Karimnagar in Telangana and is an important site of historical Hindu temple architecture as well as an architectural marvel of the Kakatiya dynasty.
