Pamban Bridge is one of the famous tourist places situated in Ramanathapuram district which has been built on 24th February 1914. This bridge is a 100 years old railway bridge which acting as over-bridge over the sea connecting Rameswaram island with the mainland. This coupled with the mysterious surrounding and well developed construction of the building gives the visitors the feeling of witch they are o the other world. Famous as the second largest India’s sea bridge, it measures 2.5 k.m long and 1m in width.
