Lord Venkateshwara appeared to his dream and told him, “I am right here in the forest nearby. You don’t have to worry.” The devotee immediately went where the Lord mentioned in a dream off the mole hill, and digging it up, he found there. Initially, accidentally, the axe clashed on Lord Balaji’s idol with its cover by the mole-hill beneath the chin, and, to their surprise, blood started gushing out from the ‘wounds’ to the extent of covering the ground completely and turning it `Ferruginous’. The devotee could not believe to what he was seeing. He could not believe his ears as well when he heard a voice from the air saying: “Flood the mole-hill with cow’s milk. “When the devotee did so, a Swayambhu idol of Lord Balaji accompanied by Sridevi and Bhoodevi(a rare combination) was found, and this idol was installed with the due rites and a temple built for it.
