Koti Lingeswara Swamy Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, built in 1979 by Sri Sri Madanananda Swamy after he received a vision in dreams. Also referred to as Sri Umaparthiva Kotilingeshwara Swamy Kshetram, the major deity present in the temple premises has been brought from Varanasi and installed on the Sanctum. The Shiva Panchakshari written manuscripts are buried an inch or two below the main idol. The main lingam has also the symbols of Parvathi, Chandra Rekha, Ganga Devi and Bhasma Rekhalu one can see. The temple is called Koti Lingeswara Swamy Temple because there is one crore (Koti) of Shivalingas on the temple premises. Besides the Shivalingams, there are also 148 other idols.
Suspension bridge at Komati Cheruvu spanning 241 metres of length on a 4’ foot walking track is a place that every tourist’s bucket list MUST have. One can just step out and stroll upon the bridge and get a relaxed view of the environment or even can sit watching the surroundings from the seats which have been placed at different locations. There is an adventure place just next to the bridge where the kids can go forever they go play. One can also get off and enjoy zip-cycling and boating. During the nighttime the bridge lights up and its beauty is unmatched making one of the best places to visit in Siddipet.
Set next to Komati Cheruvu Lake, Glow Garden was constructed to make the lake more beautiful. The garden has water fountains, animal statues; (deer, tigers, giraffes) and trees that are decorated with number of lights. There are animated creatures in the shape of real creatures on 3-D screens of the garden. The water laser screen show, hits the kid’s zone immediately. The park is also known as Night Garden and one can see the lights come to play in the evenings. From boating in the night one can indulge in boating in the daytime.
Backed to meet the water needs of the surrounding areas, Ranganayaka Sagar Reservoir is situated over an area with a coverage of 2,200 acres and instituted under the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme (KLIS). The Godavari river waters fill the reservoir brims. People opt to pass the 14 km long road since it has been built along the reservoir on one side because it’s a pleasure to watch the sight with all the scenic views. It is a tourist hot spot amongst the people of Hyderabad, who visit here to see the body of water. The hour of the visitors is either the morning to see sunrise or the evening to see sunset. The reservoir is a perfect example of excitatory beauty.
Since it covers an area of 205 hectares, Oxygen Park is the best place to spend ones time with family and friends. This lovely green botanical garden is well maintained. The park will make you closer to nature because it has live size installations of birds and animals. Children’s play area is some part of the park meant to provide entertainment for children. There is a gym that the visitors can play. There is a watch tower in the premises of the park whose viewer also has an extraordinary view of the surroundings.
