The Kabirpanti pilgrimage site of Damakheda exists about ten kilometers from Raipur the capital of Chhattisgarh near the Balodabazar – Bhatapara district. The small village lies directly between Raipur and Bilaspur on the route while measuring 10 kilometers from Simga. The location serves as the main sacred site of Kabirpantis. The site attracts international visitors who want to express their homage. Kabir Math at Damakheda was established 100 years back by Guru Agardas Swami during his role as the 12th Guru of Kabirpanth. A Kabir tent together with a structure stands beside the site where his remains are buried. These poetry demonstrates excellent creativity through both couplets and chaupai.

The Shiva temple known as Siddheshwar Temple stands on Balasamund pond’s embankment within Palari village at a distance of 25 kilometres along Balodabazar to Raipur Road inside Chhattisgarh’s Balodabazar district. A group of skilled developers built this temple in the seventh century AD and the eighth century AD. The temple directs itself toward the western direction since its construction involves brick materials. The entry of the temple depicts River Goddess Ganga and Yamuna through Tribhangaamudra poses. Three deities comprise Trinity markings on the architectural decoration of the doorway. The picturesque view of Shiva’s wedding appears beautifully etched into the entrance Sidhn and beside it the AshtDikpal dedication can be found carved on the gate branch. The sanctum sanctorum contains Siddheshwar Shivalinga. The temple shikhar showcases elegant gajmukh and vaalyan designs which emerge from its Chaitya Gaavaksh. The temple stands out as one of the finest brick structures found in Chhattisgarh. The state authorities of Chhattisgarh formally protected this historical site.
