Apart from it, there is another temple named Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir was the setup around 42 years back by Saint Mahatma Kevlal Patel, who was very prominent Saint.an idol of Hanuman has been residing in the main temple. 3.Tuman

Tuman is a small village located 10 km away from Katghora, that is 30 km in the north-west direction of district headquarters.

The legend of old state that Tuman was royal capital of kings in Haihaya dynasty. One old Shiv Mandir is present here. It is thought that the shree mandir reminds built since the kings of Ratnadev First by kalchuri (Near 11 A.D).

4.Chaiturgarh

Chaithurgarh (Lafagarh) falling around 70 Kms from Korba town. it is 25 Kms from Pali to North and situated 3060 height over on the hill top. It was built by Builder Rajat Pratwidev First. Archaeologists believe it as one of the solidest natural fortress. As it is surrounded by strong natural walls, walls have been constructed only at some places. The fort has three prime entries which are called as Menaka, Humkara, and Simhadwar.

On the hilltop is a large clear area of 5sqkm with five ponds in it. From amongst which three are perennially full of water.

The Mahishasur Mardini temple is located here, the famous. Idol of Mahishasur Mardini having 12 hands is placed inside the sanctum sanctorum. Shankar cave is located 3 kms far from the temple. The cave which is in shape like a tunnel, the cave is 25 feet long. It is so narrow that a person has to go inside the cave through crawling since it is rather short in diameter.

Chaithurgarh, the hillocks of this place is known for its natural expansiveness and adventure experiences. The area houses several wild animal and bird species. The SECL built a visitor’s rest house here. The temple trust too opened some rooms for the tourists.

Madwarani Mandir is located on Korba-Champa Road at a distance of 22 KM from district headquarter.
