Lord Shiva Temple is situated in Narayanpur on four kilometres distance from Basavakalyan and on seventy seven kilometres from Bidar. A Narayanpur Shiva shrine was constructed by the Chalukyan kings in the last century. The sanctuary is in the heart of the town, within the city centre in the midst of houses.
