1.PARSHVANATH MANDIR

History recognizes Parshvanath Mandir as an extremely important temple in India that maintains its status as one of the country’s oldest temples built for the Jain faith. The sacred temple continues to glorify multiple centuries by showcasing its dedication to devotion and masterful architecture.

Spiritual Significance

The temple exists in Maksi where it maintains a powerful religious atmosphere combined with profound spiritual powers. This holy pilgrimage site holds a place as the second-oldest Jain teerth (pilgrimage) destination in India since its existence spans about 2000 years. The temple serves Parshvanath Bhagwan the 23rd Tirthankara of Jainism as its dedication. All across India people come to the main sanctum to worship the sacred murti (idol) of Parshvanath Bhagwan.

A Hub for All Jain Panths

Among all Jain denominations the community exists in two principal divisions called Shwetambar and Digambar. Both Jain Panths share their place of worship at Parshvanath Mandir which displays a strong example of diverse unity. The spiritual importance of Maksi grows stronger because of its well-known Vaishnavi Devi temple located in close proximity.

2.Raj Rajeshwari Temple

The Raj Rajeshwari Mata Mandir stands proudly on the peaceful Chiller River banks in Shajapur’s center of Madhya Pradesh. The temple exists today as a religious center serving pilgrims and continues to celebrate the traditional history of the area.

History

The holy temple originated approximately 300 years ago. The temple gained its foundation when Manibai Paltan made a generous act by offering 4 Bigha and 2 Bisava of land in 1781. In 1791 Tarabai donated ₹4106 to help build the temple though it was a large sum that reflected high value in that historical period.
