Lingampet village is named after the Raja Venkata Narasimha Reddy and Queen Lingayamma, who founded it. Fort walls, lakes and many wells were built by them to protect and develop the village. Pannapet (pappanapet?) Samasthanam was enlarged and glorified in the rule of Raja Venkata Narasimha Reddy. Also construction ofJaksani Naganna Bavi(stepwell) in Lingampet village was conducted in his reign.
Rani Shankaramma was a legendary king of Pappanapet Samasthanam. She built up a good enough and huge army, which protected the people at the Nizam’s territory and battled with Maharashtrians, who tortured and levied tax on them. The Nizam conferred with the title of Rayanbhag to Rani Shankaramma for self-protection and defense of the people and rule. Rani Shankaramma can be compared with another cellebrate queen of the Kakatiya dynasty by name Rani Rudramadevi. She also built vast lakes and canals for the purpose of development in agriculture.
Sree Kalabhairava Swamy Temple is situates in Isannapally village Ramareddy Mandal of Kamareddy District. This is the last Kalabhairava Swamy temple that is in South India after the Kashi-kshetra.

A lot of devotees from various parts of Telangana state reach here on the day of Mahashivaratri and they worship Sri Siddharameshwara Swamy with numerous pujas and Sevas.
Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple is in forest 3 Kms to chukkapur village of Machareddy mandal, Kamareddy dist. There will be large number of people come to temple in Summer and winter seasons and exorcise lord and meets ones wishes.
